Next week, people all across the planet will be striking for climate.
JOIN THE STRIKE FOR CLIMATE
(September 20th-27th, 2019)
Following over a year of weekly strikes for climate, Swedish student Greta Thunberg has grown a global grassroots movement and is now collaborating with organizations worldwide to organize a global strike for climate.
Climate change is all around us: intensifying storms, hurricanes, heatwaves and wildfires, as well as slow-burning disasters like drought and famine—all of which hit vulnerable communities the worst.
There’s no time to lose in the fight for climate justice.
The climate strikes starting on Friday September 20th are a unique opportunity to create a roaring upswell of public support for the ambitious climate solutions we need at all levels of government worldwide.
The list of climate strike partners includes Change.org, Patagonia, 350.org, Amnesty International, Women’s March, Indigenous Environmental Network, Ben & Jerry’s, and even a group of Amazon employees. See the full list of official partners here.
It’s time all of us to do our part to save our planet!
